From all my research, the new CUT are made in Augusta Georgia, the 5000 series made in the USA, the 6000 series are made in Germany. This info I have gleaned from dealers and reading. I cannot be legally liable for any misrepresentations of above stated info, just a disclaimer that we find on everything we buy@@@@@@@@@ thought it might work for me, Chase

if u go to Best-Used-Tractors.com they say that yanmar made jd. Shibaura has made compact Ford/New Holland tractors, Iseki has made tractors for Massey Fergusson and Bolens, Hinomoto formerly manufactured Massey Fergusson and Allis Chalmers compact tractors. if this is true why do these companies say they build there tractors in the usa /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

According to my information, the the 2210,4010,4110 and 4115 were made in Japan by Yanmar/Kansaki for John Deere. Now the 2305 and 2320/2520 are at least assembled in the USA (Augusta plant). The mid frame 4000's (now the 3000 series) and 4020's are also made in Georgia. The 5000 is US made except for the 5203 etc. which is made in India. The 6000 series is made at MannheimWerks in Germany. For years John Deere has used Yanmar powerplants and Kansaki hydro transaxles (now made in Tennessee) for its smaller tractors. Even though there is an international flavor to these machines, if anything, John Deere's presence has caused companies like Kansaki to settle here in the USA. I doubt that company would have built a transmission factory here had it not been for John Deere's presence in Augusta.

This is kinda standard now for these companies. Components come from abroad and the rest of the process is completed in the US - often in George because of the competitive tax rates. 1/3+ of Kubota products are US built. New Holland does not say, but I'd guess they are somewhat lower as I believe they only do final assembly and not fabrication here.
