My Farmall 55C was built at the Fiat plant in Mexico.

It is hard to keep track of who makes/sells what anymore. I wanted a new bucket for my loader so I picked out a CNH unit. I had the part# for it and gave it to my local New Holland dealer, they said since they were only an Ag dealer they couldn't order a construction bucket, Huh?. So I called my Case/IH AG dealer and he said no problem, Huh?

The Farmall Compact C series is made by LS in South Korea with an Alo loader (made in Tennessee), with the exception of the C "CVT" models which (recently discontinued) were made by CNH itself in Mexico. These had some Shibaura/DX series influence in them. Seems the CVT's had a lot of electrical issues and weren't a hot seller, it's a shame they didn't catch on.
The Farmall Utility C series (ie. 65C up through 120C) is made in Turkey by Turk Tractor which is either a subdivision or joint venture of FIAT/CNH. Been building tractors for FIAT since the '60's from what I've read.
