That sounds like a match made in heaven.
I wonder if JD will take the eHydro away from Sauer/Danfoss? JD and Danfoss go back a long way
Edit: Looks like they've been in production for over 10 years, I wonder if the make the non eHydro tranny's for deere?

I've been fairly steadily looking for information on anyone Mahindra may have partnered with on the HSTs for the Mahindra built models and can find nothing that points away from it being an in-house job. There are little indications that Mahindra Gears and Transmissions does make hydraulic gears (specifically for heavier equipment), but nothing substantial. With most of their partnerships being well documented, and with the types of customers listed, I'd have to say they more than likely make their own. One method of protecting trade secrets has often been to keep everything in house and talk about it as little as possible.

Not so easy as picking a specific hydro supplier for an OEM. The tractor may have several suppliers depending on the model. Speaking from experience as an engineer working for 3 OEMs during my career, I've been involved in designs as diverse as utilizing 2 different suppliers pumps on a machine coupled with as many as 3 different suppliers motors. Surely one wouldn't expect things to be as simple as using one suppliers product across a full line of equipment. Too boring. Really at AGCO I remember at one time building 5 different models and using 4 different hydros from 3 different suppliers.

With your AGCO experience, could you venture a guess as to which HST I have in my Iseki built 1648?

Exactly....long gone are the days when the only thing rolling into manufacturing plants was raw materials and workers.
