Who makes the Kubota BX hydrostatic transmission

hello all I have a 455 jd I believe I have a k92 trans in it. I think I see a x700 series with same trans? was this also in 595 jd machine?
some have 4wd on trans according to tuff torq?? could this be adapted to a 455 and if so what front end parts would be needed??
also the new 748 uses hyd 4wd hookup is the trans for it a k92??? if not does anyone know which trans in the new x748?? and could the awd be adapted for the 455. My serial number is moo455010045. does that mean it is the 45th tractor of the line.. from research I believe it is a 93 it shows 421 hrs on it I got it used but I don't think the dash has ever been changed I know I haven't.. I got it from a dealer second hand about two years after
the original owner bought it. and have had it since then... thanks for any help sorry probably in wrong forum but could not get computer to corporate.

Kubota makes all the major components of their tractors - engines and transmissions as well as the major implements, e.g., front loader, mowers and backhoes. Now do they order pumps and other components from a third party supplier, I'm sure they do. Not sure, but in that size class, they may be the only mfg that makes the entire tractor.

This is true. That's why Kubota's quality is superior. They make everything "in-house" therefor they can have the best QA.

I am also a convert to Kubota. Our only local Deere Dealer is a crook. I purchased a BX1860 new 2 years ago with a 48 in Belly mower, a 48 in 3 pt disc, 48 in Box blade and the Front end loader. The only thing I found that made this combo better was the Woods Quick attatch for the rear 3 point hitch. That stopped the rear arms from flopping and made hookup much easier for the disc or box blade. My Hydrostat unit works flawlessly whether I am mowing or discing the garden.
