What did you do overseas?

Sold real estate, managed a restaurant, taught English, managed an ecotourism project, managed teams of volunteers.

I was a computer operator for Boeing for a little over five years. Twelve days on, two days off shift rotation. Nothing wrong with the job but I just got tired of being indoors and seeing no "variety" in the job.

I became a professional firefighter for the next 34 years. Made a little less money but I was way more satisfied. Worked a 24 hour shift every third day with every fifth shift a Kelly day.
