Who really makes what?

Well I have a Mitsubishi and to the best of my knowledge all major components are Mitsubishi made.
Exceptions being smaller components like air intake, filters, starters and alternators etc are jobber supplied and often crossed with other brands.
On the other hand the Mitsu engines are found in many brands including Yanmar, Ford, Massy and others.

I think you're confusing Yanmar with the Cub Cadet tractors built by Mitsubishi. But if you have a source, or model number, for a Mitsubishi powered Yanmar tractor, I'd like to learn more about it.

100%? Who knows. Any given Kubota may be assembled from parts manufactured by Kubota in Kubota owned plants from more than one country. Like Deere and Caterpillar, (Toyota, Honda, GM, Ford, Fiat/Chrysler etc.) Kubota finds that as it sells worldwide it behooves Kubota to manufacture worldwide.

Kubota has two manufacturing plants in Georgia, one Georgia plant does assembly as well, a diesel engine manufacturing plant in Illinois, US sales and administration is HQ'ed in California. Kubota share are traded on the NYSE as ADRs.

I seriously doubt if any brand can be 100% pure.
2 items stand out, tires and batteries, but also many of the lesser components like filters, connectors, hydraulics, spark and glow plugs etc etc.
But then as in USA there might be some suppliers that are jointly owned by a couple of major brands. (Dana is one that comes to mind)

So does Kubota make their own engines, drive trains and other major items on their tractors? Ive googled it but havent came up with anything definate. Some brands seem to be really piece milled together more than others, just wondering about the Kubotas now the subject was brought up.

I have a Grand L. The Grand L chassis, engine, trans, bodywork etc. all come in from Japan, fully assembled, bolted on the most beautiful steel pallets you can imagine. FEL and buckets, manufactured in Georgia, are put on a truck with the chassis/pallet and mated at the dealers.

Kubota has at least three engine plants: Japan, Illinois, USA and Thailand.

Kubota tires and wheels are mostly Titan, made in USA as far as I know. Come to think of it, some are made by Carlisle.

Its hard to really definitively know, but Kubota appears to be the most pure of most of the tractor companies.

Agreed. Cub Cadet had several different tractors (at least) with the Mits engine. I have one of them, a 7532. Other 7000 series included the 7305, 7265, and 7205.
