Been riding since I was 12, will be 54 next month, so a while. Only about a 7 month span in all those years without a bike. Currently have a 2001 BMW F650 for the dual sport deal, a 2004 BMW RT 1150 for my sport touring duties and a 2008 Victory Kingpin for the V-twin fix.
I rode a Harley professionally with a suicide clutch for about 2 years as a Police Officer..Traffic enforcement..I have attached a picture..3 speeds forward and a foot clutch..it was one sweet ride..had a lot of fun.
It was in another lifetime though... Be careful out there..I never rode again after that...it is just to dangerous now with all the traffic and crazy drivers..at least for me.
Todays bike the driver shifts the clutch with hand lever and shift lever is operated by your foot., on this model HD, the clutch was foot operated and the shift was done with a lever on the left side of gas tank, so the driver had to take their hand off the handelbars to make the shift.
