Who rides motorcycles?

I miss that sort of thing but haven't been able to ride since 2006 due to back issues. My last track toy was a Husky SM510R, what a hoot.

Motard! Full lock slides on hard surface is an adrenaline rush. About as much fun as you can have on a hard surface road in my opinion, but alas, I out grew them. (got old) I had a KTM 950 which was also a lot of fun and you could take about anywhere you were brave enough (or dumb enough) to point it. I try to be much more docile in my riding now days though it is sometimes difficult.

I like the gravel and dirt roads. The V-Strom in these photos is what I rode to Alaska and back. Then got a 950 like the one in the photo. My nephew and I were exploring dirt roads and did about 300 miles the day these were taken. This spot was one of our favorites. The mud was pretty firm so fairly easy riding but no one else around. He has since passed from cancer, man I miss him.

That Husky in the photos is a Cagiva Husky and I'm unlikely to find parts for it. Even so, I kept the Husky to hang upsidedown for the memories. Disk pain keeps me off of sleds, bikes, and ATVs, but I still have grins and giggles on my side-by-side.

Oh man, that reminds me of riding the dirt bikes on the frozen ponds and lakes. We studded the tires with hex headed sheet metal screws as we could not afford to buy the prestudded Trelleborg tires That was a lot of fun and better traction than dirt. Had one lake with a couple of small islands that we used as jumps. Fun times. Do you have studded tires on your buggy?

Ran across this photo of live music from the Low Gap Cafe. It is an experience.

I do stud the tires using Woody studs. As of this year I now have dedicated winter wheels and dedicated summer wheels which makes the seasonal transition much, much easier.

I screwed Woody's 18mm Twist Attack high-carbon core tire studs into my RZR 1000S to increase the winter grins and giggles factor, sliding and drifting.

Tire stud wise, I've learned we get what we pay for and Woody's offers good value and they come in 11mm, 15mm, 18mm, and larger sizes for construction equipment. I use the 18s with new tires.

As many as I want! LOL

It's all about the grins and giggles. I miss motorcycles though, I really do.

I don't miss all of the extra maintenance ('cause you cannot just have one motorcycle)
