Who rides motorcycles?

Last week I added another 2 wheeler to my collection. I bought a 2020 KTM 300 6Days. .. As a kid and into my late 20s, I was heavily involved in off road and outdoor motoX, did a few super cross events as well. ..But coming up on 20 years since I have been on a bike that didn't have a light and horn. .. Going out on it today for the first time. ... should be fun.

Situational Awareness..... always good

Knock wood, hasn't happened to me, but I've read in plenty of forums of riders getting rear-ended, mostly slow speed stuff at lights, stop signs....

So if your in a car or truck and get rear ended its your fault ?

I was slowing to make a left turn with my turn signal and brakes activated when a p/u truck rear ended my goldwing. No serious injuries. There was no question that the accident was the fault of the truck driver and his insurance covered everything. Fortunately no serious injuries for me or my wife, the goldwing was totalled. Obviously the p/u driver was distracted probably with his phone. I guess some idiot could say it was my fault because I was on the road.

I disagree mostly, but I do flash my rear brake light with my front brake lever while stopped at a light. I do this until a car stops behind me.

I'm old enough to remember the original Cyberlight. Went poking around just now, to see what's out there....

Hopefully they can sustain production; last post was concerning Covid___ delays on their next build.

New device aims to put brake lights on motorcyclists''' heads

Takes advantage of MC rider height, and I like the wide-angle coverage. Still would like flash rate proportional to decel; as far as I can see it doesn't do that.

Adding to my Will Consider list....

Maybe, but on a bike you ride with a whole different mindset, or you probably will have problems..
