I was out mowing with my 4210 the morning of the 27th, our first really dry spell after raining every day for nearly 2 weeks. Cut about four acres in full sun, wishing I had a canopy. I quit at about 1 pm, and the thermometer said it was 88 in the shade. Later in the afternoon it got as hot as 95, and the humidity was 85 percent with full sun in a cloudless sky.
I've lived in mid-Michigan all my life, but can't recall the weather ever being so uncomfortable during May. Instead of griping about it, I just smile and remember a phrase my former boss used, when he heard someone complaining about the heat:
"If you think it's hot now, just wait until you die"..... :grin
