I have Wright Tools at work. Both 3/8" & 1/2" drive sets. Bought them 6 years ago and haven't broke any yet. The box and the tools say they are made in USA. At home I have mostly Craftsman.

Sears has a set of 3/4" drive sockets. I recently bought a set of large wrenches from there as well. All of the sockets and stuff I buy at Sears still say Made in USA.

I have a whole refrigerator sized tool box filled with snap on tools and always thought they were made in USA. I also have an assortment of Craftsman tools and they are what I purchase nowadays as I no longer work in a place where the snap on tool trucks stops by. However, I can tell you unequivocably that craftsman quality, though they offer free replacements on broken sockets, are nowhere near the quality of Snapon. Still, since they are easy to replace, hassle free, I buy and use them. This is from experience as I have broken countless sockets (they split) and have never been able to break one snap on socket, even though the snap on sockets are thinner and can get into places the craftsman ones can't. Just my 2 cents.
