And may the best man/woman win! :D
Independent judging will be conducted by ME! He, He, JUST KIDDING.... Anyone can post, no limit to # of entries/pics submitted, and voting will be tabulated, (or not), at some future date to be announced, maybe :)
Remember, its for fun! So have some fun and post your pics!:thumbsup:

{Hello Island, now's your chance to shine!:cool: }

Thanks,

CM

P.S. I have to search for my own best entries- and I will post some soon....

I'll go first i guess. I have a DK35SE HST with a KL351 Kioti loader and QA forks. I have a green 32" soft maple log bout 13' long on the forks. No sweat picking this log. Guessing the weight, 2000lbs. with mud and all . . .John

Very nice log- what did you do with it? Planks? Firewood?

Here are some pics of various loads on forks and grapple. Maybe not the biggest of what I've lifted, but shows some of the ongoing tasks at my place.:)

Coyote machine,
All the wood i cut are "Cull" logs (junk timber) all go into firewood. I have approx. 30 acres of cherry which i am going to cut in probably 2 years again and sell over seas for clock cabnets. Last time I had buyers from Germany and Checkoslavakia which bought my logs. Work like this is every day normal for my tractors. . .John

You've got an exceptional loader there. Even the softest of maples with the measurements given would weigh closer to 3000 lbs. A sugar maple would approach 4000lbs.

John,
Cool man that you have the forest to provide for cherry cabinets. I just had some white birch cabinets made for our kitchen a couple of years back. Hardly anyone can guess correctly as to which wood species it is when asked.:D Some woods are too cool for words!
What Stihls do you use?

I'll re-post this from LogDog's thread as my "entry":

"There are 28 - 6x6x8' Cedar logs in this bundle. They weigh between 85 and 105 lbs each. Since they were cut green and stored outside I would lean more towards 100lb ea. It didn't like it, but it lifted and curled it. I regularly lift around 2K with no problems and traded in a CK30 for the DK mostly for the extra loader capacity...it has not disappointed me in over 600 hrs.."

That's the most it's ever lifted, but not the most I ever attempted....dang relief valve stops me from being too schtoopid:laughing:
