Whose Boxe Blade to get & What Size?

/ Whose Boxe Blade to get & What Size? #31
I know several people have scared you off this size and I hate to disagree with guys that have a lot more experience than I do, but I run a 66" BB on my 27 HP Kioti with no issues. I have done road repair work on compacted road base, ripped and leveled in our heavy clay soil plus many other tasks. I have had the box full to overflowing and never stalled the tractor, had it bog down or have other problems. I do always leave my FEL on for he extra weight and maybe I am missing an critical detail, but I would thing that with 10 more hp, you should be able to handle the extra 6 inches.

Your Kioti with loader is 2000lbs heavier than his tractor. His 10 more horse power means nothing when he has such a little amount of weight. All his HP is good for is PTO implements. That is why he needs to get a smaller BB.

Rent a 72" BB of any sort from somewhere. See how well the tractor handles it.
Have the dealer find someone who will let you demonstrate their BB for an hour. It won't take long if you have a game plan. Put the BB on your tractor,
Scrape up some previously loosened dirt, see how well your tractor handles it. Then go rip some hard ground, not rock ledges. Pay the owner $25.00 and then go buy the size BB you like.

SixHoeBob's advice is great. If you do that you get to try the BB on the tasks you actually intend to use it for. As the saying goes "your mileage may vary".
