The cost of developing the owners manual is part of the cost of developing a new model of any piece of equipment. Selling the owners manual as an after-market part is just a way to make money. The people who wrote the manual have already been paid, and the corporation has built the development cost into the price of the machine. There is no reason not to make these available. The workshop manual, on the other hand, is not included with the equipment, so it does make sense that they sell these. However, IMHO, the Kubota WSM is overpriced. In the modern world it would make sense to be able to buy it for download at a reduced cost from the hard copy version. My two cents.
