Why are the quick disconnects so pricey

I must be getting old, because I look at the price of almost everything and think its too pricey.

A loaf of bread is now 4 bucks and yes you are getting old

My Kubota came with Snap-Tite QC's..

When I installed my remotes, I bought direct from Snap-Tite. I don't recall them being that expensive, but they weren't cheap either. But, they're also not Chi-Com junk..

ISO-B Interchange, Poppet Style Quick Disconnect Coupling - Snap-tite 72 Series on Snap-tite, Inc., Quick Disconnect & Valve Div.

This is a good source and there are other manufacturers that will match up. My FEL and Plow have different manufacturers and used different coupling manufacturers. These fittings are Just ISO-B Spec (Standardized) and 1/4" on this application. These can be sourced elsewhere for a better cost.

Why so expensive...Kubota doesn't manufacture-Bought item from distributor and stocked with markup, shipped to dealer and he gets some markup (or he couldn't be there). So in short two extra mark ups. Purchase direct from distributor and save some bucks.
