With these scams you need to direct your compl. to Nigeria, thats where 90% of the scams come from. at work i am contacted by many people who have fallen for scams like these in the past. Most of the time the person is over 50 YOA and says to me i cant believe i fell for this. as they walk out the door i tell them you know the best advice i can give you, you will never win the lotto, you have no unknown relitive that is going to die and leave you his fortune, and you are never going to find a deal of a life time, if it sounds too good skip it, it is.
I am going on a trip in febuary and yesterday i has someone call me for "fishing " trying to get my info. He said the wanted to confirm my trip. The first question was a give away. HAve you booked your vacation yet? well i did and they should know that right? he asked when, where, and i said dont you have that info, the guy responds yes, but if you give me the info this will go faster and i dont have to look it up. he then asked what i was paying with. i said i cant tell you that. at the other end of the line i herd a shigh and the phone hang up.
There will always be scamers if people will fall for it, you need to just be smart abouit it.
