I need to figure out some electronics for my landpride. I cannot do hydraulic. Looking into linear actuators for the chute but still undecided.

I originally typed electrics and changed it. Not sure which is the best term. I have looked at that actuator but trying to keep the price down. I am seeing cheap one going for under 50. I am sure I will get what I pay for. Thanks for the link.

Get that one next year, when you're replacing the $50 one.

Honestly I don't even know if they're good ones. They appear to be, and they appear to be very well sealed. They have CAD to download, which is helpful for some (me). I hope to use one for my SSQA one day to make switching between bucket/forks/grapple quicker.

Good luck. Take pictures.

A friend of mine uses a small atv winch for his chute. He has a few wraps on the spool with both ends of the cable attached around the base of the chute. Works well but probably not any cheaper than an actuator.
