New snow this morning (about 10 inches) with more coming.
Thought you guys would like to see the 425 in action. This was wet heavy snow but the 425 did a great job.

PJ,

Did I see correctly -- that you're pushing 10" of wet, heavy snow with just turf tires and no chains? If so, that IS impressive...

Well, that looks a bit different than Annie and I remember. :)

We're supposed to get up to a foot tomorrow, too. I love snow but it wrecks the ice for fishing. What are the temps out there now? We hovered around 5 degrees for a couple weeks. Today it was 28 and felt like a heat wave.

MR, know what you mean. Took my usual lunch time walk yesterday and thought how "pleasant" it was...then I was informed it was 22 degrees. The forecast is back to single digits real soon here. Now we are waiting for the first real snow storm of the season also. Guess tonight I'll check the fluids and have her ready to go!

We lived in Oswego, NY decades ago. They now have about 12 feet of snow on the ground! I doubt that even a Power Trac could handle that!!

Down here in the last 4 years we have had a total of 1 or 2 inches of snow. I'd like to try my PT-425 in deeper snow, but I have no plans to move back to Oswego!!!

My PT-425 has lug tires, and they did help me get to the end of my driveway last year when we got an inch of dry snow!! Of course it helps that the driveway is downhill in both directions!!

The 425 with turf tires does a great job in winter. Snow removal may be a bit better with lug tires but I do not want to have two sets. The turf handles just about whatever comes along. If the dump is to large I put the large bucket on and push and dump.
The temps have been around 0 for low and gettiing into the mid 20's for a high.
The forcast is for highs into the low 40's end of this week. Flooding will start but the skiing is very good.
