why is fertilizer so expensive?

You know inflation has taken hold when everyone says "well I better buy today because it will be more expensive tomorrow"

Fertilizer, food, fuel, what exactly does anyone think is going to be cheaper or the same price tomorrow?

Yep it all spirals...out of control...
Consider the people who react, when I'm pumping gas and they say wow the prices, and I turn and point to the diesel prices.
They say I'm glad I don't have to care about those I don't have a diesel.Well in fact they do in a round about way.Consider that everything pretty much uses diesel to move and its going to trickle down.
HMM almost the train of thought the govt has .

I have a 2005 Dodge 3500 Cummins Diesel and I don't know how I would live without it. Maybe the new gas engines are better, but as much pulling as I do I think I would need a new truck every 50K miles. I am getting 17-18 in my Dodge and around 12 pulling.

In the early 80s we went through the same thing. It almost bankrupt me because I had the same attitude. Best thing to do is to buy only what you need until things get better. The trouble is that just puts more people out of work.
