Why is it the spark plug in the left back...

I used to have a 1966 Sunbeam Tiger sports car. It was a Sunbeam Alpine with a Ford 265 CI V-8 instead of the normal 4 banger. The spark plugs were difficult to access, to say the least, but the one on the Left Rear, from inside the car, was easy because there was a hole in the firewall with a rubber plug in it. Pull down the carpet and pull out the rubber plug. Then just reach through the hole and work on the sparkplug.

She's a '95 with 135k, one year before the HP jump. Ran her predessor, an '89, to 178k and sold it running very good, no oil consumption at all.

Did not have any anti-sieze on hand, rubbed a tad of synthetic grease on the threads. Think this could cook and stick?

When I worked at a garage while in High School we were to do a tuneup on a DeSoto one of the last made with the biggest engine they made. We couldn't get at the plugs on one side of the engine and called the local MoPar parts place for any advice they had. They told us they sold a Kit to fix the problem.
The "kit" consisted of a template, a large drill, and 4 plugs
to put in the holes you had to drill in the fender wells to get at the sparkplugs.

IMHO.. that will exacerbate the problem. Graphite laden NS would have worked better. If that grease cokes up.. it may be nice and tight..

IMHO.. that will exacerbate the problem. Graphite laden NS would have worked better. If that grease cokes up.. it may be nice and tight..
