Some people live happy, long lives and some people live miserable, long lives. Just ask my mother in law. Id rather live a short happy one than long miserable one, if only given one of the 2.So often I hear married guys telling young singles how lucky they are or stay single... yet married men live longer...

For over 30 years my wife has refused to cut grass. Push, riding or finishing mower, she won’t even sit on the seat. She insists she doesn’t want to learn because some day she might have to cut it.
I got my L2650 stuck in the mud once. I grabbed my L3200 to pull it out and just wanted her to steer. She said no and found my then young son somewhere and he helped with the steering.
Her 79 year old mother cuts all her own grass. Like me, her mom finds cutting grass is almost therapeutic, quality personal time.
As I drive around in our rural area and see all the ladies on their mowers and tractor, I figured I must have married the only woman around that doesn’t cut grass.
