Why No Quick Attach Bucket on BX's?

/ Why No Quick Attach Bucket on BX's? #51
Don't quote me on it but I thought I heard they were around $300.

That's not as bad as I thought it would be for being a factory piece. :eek:ptimist:

Interesting.

If I ever get a part number I'll forward it to my dealer to confirm.

Please let us know what the part number is if you find out, thanks.

My dealer told me that this is only available in the US, too bad for us Canadians.

If you're not too far from the border it should not be hard to get one delivered to a US receiving service and take it through yourself. The service fees are quite reasonable. You would have to declare it and pay duty and sales taxes, if applicable.

My dealer quoted me around $275 for the QA adapter and $650-$700 for the forks.

$275 to $300 sound better than the one I have been trying to make for a few years. Does it work with the stock bucket? Anyone have one? Photos of how it works would be great. I all ready have forks. I would just need to fit them to the QA. I am assuming they would work on a BX24.

Is there a tread about how they work? Never mind, just saw the video in this tread.

Anyone have the part number yet?

TIA

Which video are you referring to?
If your talking about the versa-daptor or Tach-n-go, those are aftermarket systems and not the same as the factory quick adapter we're talking about as pictured in post #38

$275 Nice!

Like to see some close up pictures of just this piece to see if I can make it work.

Yup. Your right on the video.

I have called a couple of dealers and they say the FEL has been reinforced for the QA. I will need to see what the difference is on a BX25 FEL. They are also saying that the QA is not recommended for the BX24 and possible damage can occur. Might be a disclaimer too.

The part number is BX 6315.

Anyone have a new BX25 with a QA? I would like some photos of what has changed on the FEL.

TIA

Matt.

That is alot for a lightduty set of forks.

Why No Quick Attach Bucket on BX's? Or the B's for that matter? I see the Green Machines have quick attach fron loader buckets that come off in a snap. Why can't Kubota do that? I can't see it putting that much more weight on the FEL and decreasing the lift capacity by much. It sure would be nice to drop the bucket at grab some forks made for the machine instead of aftermarket ones. Is there an aftermarket set-up like this besides the BXpanded forks?

Check out this site Jari USA, Home of the Jari Sickle Mower they have a mounting plate system. I do not have this system but it looks pretty decent just expensive
