Why no rubber on stabilizers?

/ Why no rubber on stabilizers? #11
I got the dealer to throw in the optional rubber pads when I bought the tractor. They are helpful if you are working on asphalt. However, the lip of the bucket is the main problem.

What I don't like about the pads on grass is, they have a tendancy to want to flip over as down pressure is increased, thus diiging into the grass and making the platform less stable. I would not recommend them.

I have been considering puting the factory pads back on as I do very little backhoe work on asphalt. Or maybe modifying them to prevent them from flipping.
