Why should i buy a John Deere 3830e over a Kubota L3800hst? The John Deere is cheaper, but its cheaper made. The biggest thing i see is the loader. What do yall think?

Welcome. You will find a ton of comments on TBN pro and con any tractor. The right choice is the one that's right for you. And I suggest the strength of your dealer should have a lot to do with your choice.
But do shop around. For one thing, prices can and do vary.
I looked at JD and Kubota earlier this year for a tractor replacement. Both make good tractors. I think you mistyped the JD tractor in your post. I assume you meant a JD 3038e, which is comparable to the L3800 in horsepower.
I made that comparison, and drove both tractors. I did not find the JD to be cheaper made. I found it every bit as well engineered and built as the Kubota. Prices for the two were very similar here, but better financing gave John Deere the distinct edge.
The deciding factors for me were the strength of the JD dealership, past experience with JD quality, and the comfort and design of the controls. The JD was considerable easier for me to operate, and the rocker foot pedals of the Kubota were very tiring even in a short trial... And totally beyond my wife's ability with her knee replacements.
I went with the JD 3038e and - with almost 50 hours on it now - I am delighted I did. But what works for me may not work for you. Good luck with your decision.

I looked at both JD and Kubota; aside from all the info you'll get about the mechs. JD has it over Kubota with the maintenance parts and parts ordering on their website. go to JD website and type in your model and get a part list with part numbers...now try it on Kubota's site...

JD are easy to hide in the grass! I only lose my kabota in the punmkin patch once a year! :laughing::laughing:

Buy the one that fits you best, I would look at all of them. We have several different colors. There are models I like and models I don't.

Nothing better than a brand new pair of right sized form fitting leather work gloves. Kinda hard to get on for the first time, but after you work in them for just a short while - they conform to your hand and are the best fit imaginable. You can work in them all day, comfortable, not too bulky, etc
Every tractor has a different "fit", much like putting on a glove. What works for me might not fit you and visa versa.
Go to the dealer(s) and spend sometime driving each one. It won't take long before you start to favor one over the other.
Both brands are very reputable - so that's a non factor. If the fit is equal then it comes down to price and dealer support. Price can be a function of your negotiating skill. Dealer support, that's the wildcard that might be hard to get answered from this forum unless you get lucky to have several TBN neighbors.

I have nothing against a deere tractor believe they have their place. BUT after dealing with dealers and main office I went elsewhere one of the worst customer relations I've had, not sure why
