Why TBN isn't as enjoyable anymore

Which IMO...does not really make much sense...considering the fact that the average IQ of the contributors (based on the content of their posts is about the same as their (contributor's) ages...)...No offense to anyone..some members are exceptionally brilliant...!

It's simply a matter of personal discipline...those that can't control themselves fall to the sword...it's generally an issue of lack of intellect...

Or uncontrollable diarrhea of the mouth. Self restraint is an acquired by experience asset. So is ignoring content that gets your blood pressure up.

I bet spats about tractor color are at an all time low lately on political sites. Can't prove it, though. btw, I neither majored or minored in spectrumology when in college. All those years invested and me somewhere in the middle of a most important spectrum that I must rely on others to define. My guess is that it's two groups of folks with strong, opposing opinions and really nobody in the middle of it .. as is frequently put forth by those at the 'good' end.

When we can't pick on each other about non-tractor talk, there's always Muhammad to blame vs unsubscribing.

btw & OT, but I was going to recommend a favorite dealer, but there's just too much politics to be read into that and I haven't seen the owner's voting record. :confused3:

I worked in an Ag related industry for 30+ years that used a 10 point system to help maintain employee discipline and encourage attendance. Points “rolled off” after 180 days. It was an administrative nightmare but some system was needed to be in place to track over 1,000 people. It required a full time administrator and additional software. Point administration could be controversial at times. Some serious infractions were automatic terminations. (safety, drugs, etc.)

What amused me most was those that kept such a close eye on their point count and usually hovered at 8 or 9. As soon as points “rolled off” they were eager to replace them. These folks were seldom considered for promotion or the Employee of the Month club.

I have to say that I am enjoying TBN more lately as it seems it is turning back to more civility. I appreciate reading posts with humor, cleverness, and thoughtful, stylized writing. Takes a lot more effort than simple bad mouthing.

I like TBN as we are here to help others and have our questions answered when needed . There are many very talented people on this site .
If there is something I don't care about I just skip over it and go on .
The only problem I am having is trying to post new pictures and taking off the old ones .
