BX22
Not one of the toughest "first jobs" for the BX22 (just traded up from a BX2200) but it performed the task admirably. The Cupola was made by my father - it didn't look like it weighed much until we tried to lift it -- let alone try to carry it up a ladder.....get the BX!!!

Is there supposed to be a picture here? /w3tcompact/icons/tongue.gif

jamCT,
Can you share with us the pricing info? How much you paid and how much you got for the 2200? How many hours were on the 2200. I'm in the same situation. I've got a BX2200 and am interested in trading up to a BX22.
Thanks,
Frank

Hi guys - sorry for the delay on the replies;

1) Yes, there was supposed to be a pic of my BX22 lifting a Cupola my father made (24"x24"x36") up to the roof line of my garage - quite heavy and the picture looked great unfortunately the pic size was 750k - tractorbynet max is 150k.

2) I sold my "mint" condition (88 hours) BX2200 FEL, 60MMM, Front Mounted Power Angle Blade for $12,000.00 and purchased the BX22 TLB, 60 MMM 4 way valve and high capacity alternator for $16800.00

All I can say is, I was extremely happy with the BX2200 but I am more convinced now then ever that I should be the BX22 poster child. Not only does it provide me a conduit for additional projects, it is the perfect size of TLB for my current property (3 ac.). I initially bought the BX2200 with the mind set that it would be one of the last tractors I would ever need (although I dream of purchasing a small vineyard one day). I am the type that like to "do the work" not watch others so the BX22 was a very good fit. I think I received a very fair price for my BX2200 and the end user also obtained a tractor with not only low hours and was washed and wax almost every time it was used (yeah I gotta get a life) but they received a sizable discount when the total package was compared to new -- so it was a win win for both parties.

Good Luck

Jim

I think I need to give Dad his 15 minutes of fame!

Having a retired father close by is like gold - he has a list of projects a mile long - the cupola one was a winter project - It came out great and cost $300.00 less that one made with less detail and quality.

Nice cupola. but it looks like you have to much paint on the tractor buckets better get them in the dirt and start scratching it off.
