I was looking mostly at NH, the TC35DA up to the TC45DA had some appeal to my needs. However, I am now looking at the Kioti DK35 SE. I went to the only dealer in my area (33 miles away) and looked at them. I am impressed by their quality. I was quoted a price of $19364 delivered (tractor and FEL) and I think the dealer will be honest with me. I called another dealer in TN. about the same tractor, and he told me he did not sell them anymore. He could not beat the price of the first dealer. It seems that the TN. dealer had a $500 mark-up, but the other one only has a $150 markup and sells them like crazy.
Now, all I have to do is convince my wife that a tractor would be much better for us to use on our 35+ acres of hunting land, than the Honda Foreman 400 ATV that we use now. We have broke up 6 food plots with the Honda, and a Summit Plot Mule. After that, I feel like I have worked out too much at the gym, and I don't go to a gym. There are just too many hard turns to make on our food plots, because of their size. I think a tractor will be much better, using a tiller to do the hard work. Also, a brush hog would be nice to have. There is too much to mow with a riding mower, and some of it is too big for the mower to handle. There is a field road that needs to be maintained, as well as the road going to the property. I just can't do all of that with the ATV.
Hopefully, I will be a new Kioti owner in a few more days, preferably before the current financing deals run out. I just don't want to make payments, but that is a necessary evil.
