I've already seen more snakes than usual this year.

A week or two ago, there was a story in the Dallas Morning News saying there are more snakes being found in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area than usual. The experts attributed that to the cooler wetter weather we had. Of course, most of the snakes are non-poisonous; something like 97% if I remember right.
