Keep IE in a fully functional browser, and load Firefox without flash, and with addblock. For sites that require flash you can always load them in IE (or use the lauch into IE button that you can put on the firefox toolbar)

As others have stated, ads are how this site stays in business. Watching them is a small price to pay, particularly since there are ways, some simple and some not, to avoid them if you really want to. There are ways to load Flash in Firefox and avoid watching ads, or any other Flash app. No need to keep IE around to do that.

Nothing beats Mozilla Firefox with Flashblock, Adblock and NoScript (java script blocker). Nice clean flashy add free viewing, the ultimate in internet browsing.

Yup, I've got Firefox browser with Adblock. just right click on anything you dont want to see and block it. Most stuff is blocked anyway.
Havent seen an ad for a while.

Non-intrusive advertising is very common on websites, and as many people have suggested, is how TBN is supported. We have always rejected intrusive ads, and will continue to do so, because we don't think it's worth ruining the site over more ad revenue.

Unfortunately, we can't design our site for dial-up access anymore, since the majority of our users are on high-speed connections. Our advertisers take advantage of that with larger file sizes on ads than we saw in the past.

Muhammad has done a superb job in providing a very useful and usable site and interface.

All members are doing a superb job in their discussions and in self monitoring to keep this a family friendly site with very high quality intent and content.

Ads make it possible andkeep it working... I've used them and purchased stuff from the advertisers.

It's good, it isn't broke, let's not fix it... and, I use both a dial up at home and broadband at work.
