We make a loader to fit that Massey 65 - Three to choose from - WL-21, WL-27 and WL-42. This loader series was developed when this was a new tractor, it is a front push style mount. Simple brackets (see photo). No need to buy a new tractor if what you have is running well. This series of loaders has over 3000 fits so when you are ready to move to another tractor, you can keep the loader. I didn't have time to go throught the hard copy photo archive to find the exact photo - I had these on my computer and they are very close to how it will fit. Make SURE you add a ROPS to that tractor if you add a loader.

what is the cost of one of these loaders and brackets? are the valves and hoseing included? the MF65 will require another hyd. pump for the loader, is it included by chance? the tractor is worth 5k-6k and we dont want to spend more than the value of the tractor on a loader and ROPS. thats why im interesteed in finding a used jd with loader included.

My guess is by the time you buy the loader, the mounting brackets, a rear pto pump and reservoir (unless you have rear outlet), a 2 spool valve to control the loader and bucket, and hoses, you will have another 5K invested. If you change tractors, the loader may not fit and you will still have to buy new mouting brackets or modify the old. The rops will be extra. Unless you can find a used FEL, I would give up the idea of a FEL on the MF65.

If the MF65 has a least one set of rear hydraulics, you could use that to run a 2 spool control valve. Remember, these old tractors had limited hydraulic pressure and lift capacity won't be very great. A pto hydraulic pump will give good hydraulic pressure-up to 2500 psi.

Once you add all the about items listed above by radman (roughly $2900) to plumb the tractor with pump, valve etc..., and loader roughly around $5,200 you'd be over the tractor value. I am certain however that you'd be able to keep the loader and move it to your next tractor, or even share it between this one and the next one. There are over 1,300 different tractor make/model fits for this loader. I just thought I'd let you know that just because you have an older tractor, you aren't out of options.

I think a 2520 with 200cx would fit your needs...it'll get in the tight places to take care of food plots and it won't strain the budget, especially if you trade the MF on it.

I have been fortunate to afford both a 2320 and a 5203. I use both--the 2320 is great for tight places. If I could only have one, I would keep the 5203 since it will handle more tasks. I have 100 acres. The 03 series are great little utility tractors and if the MFWD is not an absolute necessity a used 03 might fit your needs.
