Wicked 55 was strongest and lightest, right out of the gate 5 years ago, but we've made many improvements, as we do with everything we make. It has drawn in several imposters who want to be like Wicked, but they have a whole lot to learn.
The Wickeder lid, which is now featured on Wicked 55 and Wicked 60, has a serrated horizontal channel spanning entirely across the leading portion of the lid, which greatly increases the lid's ability to rake loose material into a pile, or groom and smooth soil for seeding. Raking backwards, even if it is loose material, is something that most other manufacturers do not recommend, which totally defeats a valuable feature in which a true root rake grapple is designed for. WICKED is a TRUE root rake grapple.

This awesome EA Customer outlines differences in his V1 Wicked 55 Grapple and the newest WICKEDERR Wicked 55 he just took delivery of. It's a muuuuuch meaner animal, for sure!!
