Putting smaller diameter/radius tires on a tractor will also increase your rollover stability margin when keeping the same track. This will also change your ground speed (reduce it), but that's why they make so many gears and ranges.

You can custom make a set of rear dual like International284 did

Winston pointed out the rear axle spacers in the YM240 Parts manual. I thought I had seen solid spacers listed also so I went to look. No solid spacers, but I found a similar, longer spool spacer intended for duals.

Chapter 50:
50-12 794240-83200 Extension assy, rear shaft (Winston's diagram in post #13 above)

Chapter 56:
56-1 794240-83300 Double tire spacer assy (looks the same but longer)


And - reading this thread, I see at the bottom of the page links to prior discussions of spacers and widening in general.

Maybe adding duals is the best solution? That's not only wider on the downhill side. Loaded duals would also be a substantial counterweight on the uphill side.
