bolt a trailer hitch to it, just a pin hitch... you'll be surprised how much you could pull.

If it doesn't have headlights or taillights, that's something else worth doing !!!

Like others have said - put a hitch on it and get a small trailer, they'll haul more than you would suspect. I've got a Yamaha Pro Hauler and I use it to spray fence lines, haul gardening tools and supplies, fishing and shooting gear, the list goes on.

It's also cheaper to drive it back and forth on the road to and from the farm than driving the truck. (My farm is at the end of a dead end road, the house is about 1/4 miles away, legal here)

I had to chuckle when I read the OP's thread title, because boy am I in the same boat, err golf cart.
2012 Club Car Precedent. Very low hours, bought for my sick wife, now passed away. And I have a Kubota RTV400
also, and am about to buy a farm/larger property. Hmmm.
we used the golf cart on rv trips and boy did it run nicely. Plenty of power and speed and just fine on traction thanks to semi knobbies.

However, these things don't seem to like sitting too long without use. I tried to charge my garaged cart mid winter and no lights came on, and the battery
charger would not light up. Something isn't happy. That's next week's project. Need to get those batteries charged before they are ruined.

electric motors make a great deal of sense in an application where charging is easy. but I sure wouldn't take the golf cart out into a plowed field; that's what the UTV is for, if needed. Or snow, or deep woods, or...

I think the key is to get a hitch on it, though I wouldn't pull heavy weight with it, my manual says that's a real no no, plus a large trash car or utility can on the back to haul stuff.

Chooglin, nice golf cart. I have the same tires on my garden tractor and you won't get stuck in anything but deep mud, but a golf cart doesn't belong
there anyway. Nice usable spot in back. Would be nice if they sized it for a large Brute trash can...
and a rack for clippers and hand tools...
and...

if I didn't have the UTV, I'd lift my cart like yours. It would be interesting to do a side by side comparison of ride on your lifted cart vs. my normal one.

but most importantly, where are the chrome stacks?...:D

Guido,
what I found looking around locally, which could be totally different from say Florida or Myrtle Beach...
lots of beaters under $2K. Most probably just had dead batteries and if bought right,
would be super values. Nice used from $2-5K, or new moderate quality in the same range. A new electric cart like mine is 8 grand.
Less than a name brand UTV...but not by much. but I bought used for 5. Figured it would last forever so buy a nice super low hour one.
and no tuneups, oil changes, $50 Kubota air filters...
New custom stuff 8 grand and up. Boy is there neat stuff out there with fun custom bodies.

sorry to hog the thread...

@Guido455 - I will get pics in the next few days and post, it is like new, very low hours and garaged always. She paid $3k for it, which appears to be a pretty good price from what I can find. She got the sales receipt that shows all of the add-ons and a new paint job, April 2010 they paid $6200 for it.
Several good ideas posted, thanks so much. The winner seems to be a hitch for the front and rear, which I will definitely do very soon. Thinking I could use it to move trailers around if I can find a receiver type hitch I can use ball hitches and also pin type as well.
It has a nice light package on it and has the rear fold down seat that makes a decent carrying bed.

Found out you can add leaf springs to increase the hauling capability, anybody done this?

Also, saw videos of people installing snow plows raised by a winch. Not sure if I believe it, does not seem like it would have sufficient traction to move snow. With an enclosure it would be better than being out in the open on the tractor at least for light snows if it really works.

No problem! The golf cart charger won't work if the batteries are too low. Just get a car charger and put it on one battery at a time for a little while to get the voltage up then connect the golf cart charger and it will work fine.
