Rich -- Funny, but I can't imagine living in a city anymore! In fact, I go out of my way to avoid business trips since they always seem to go to cities! Between my time in the Marines, where I learned to shoot well, and the navy, where years on submarines left me with a craving for wide open spaces, I think my transition to country life was made possible by a good attitude and a very good woman.
What I can't figure out is why she, as a country girl, was content to live on the land but do nothing with it but let the weeds grow. Maybe too much work for a single person to handle? And she's content to put buckets under leaks in the roof, while I search for the source and repair it aggressively. Must be the submariner in me -- leaks were bad on the boats! And why is it that she's cold all the time, but I'm better at starting a fire in the woodstove? In fact, if she's cold all the time, why didn't she move to Florida ages ago?
Ah well, it's the quirks that make life special! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
Oh, and the suggestion of taking the fox to a taxidermist? Did I mention her Terminator II style of shotgunning? We did salvage the tail, however. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
