Wife is pregnant!

I just thought id share our joy. My wife and are having a baby.We found yesterday she is pregnant, and hopefully with twins and of course /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif boys.
We been trying for almost 2 years so she and I were getting pretty impatient.
Of course I hope its a boy, but really all we want is a healthy baby.
Of course this cuts into my fun money like tractors,tools, but thats okay Ive lkisted a whole bunch of stuff on ebay to make pay for these little guys.

Congratulations. Due to some medical problems my wife had, it took us over 2 yrs and a surgery to have our first, a boy, so I know how you were feeling. Followed 2 yrs later by a girl. And what fun it was. they have long since grown and gone but there are a lot of fun memories of their growing up. And now we have 3 grandkids and are enjoying them just as much. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

That's the way I felt when we were waiting for our first child. Then one day I happened to be in a gift store, and while I was standing waiting to check out, I noticed a picture on the wall behind the counter. It was a picture of two little girls sharing an umbrella while it was raining. The girls were SOOO cute, that I didn't even realize I had muttered out loud "It's got to be a girl." I heard the sales clerk say, "Excuse me?" I looked at her and asked what she meant. She said that I had said something about it having to be a girl. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

That was when I just knew that we should have a girl first. And we did.

But as you say, the most important thing is that the child is healthy.

Two years? You must be plumb tuckered out.
I was well past two in that period of time, and not breaking a sweat. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif (In fact didn't know what was causin' them). Ended up with four in five years, and then made some tough decisions. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Congrats, but having a girl first is not so bad. I wanted a boy first but think I was blessed having a girl first as you always seem to be easier around your first born. By the time my boy was born I had learned I didn't need to be so easy towards the baby. I'm afraid if my first had been a boy he would have been on the "sissy side" (sorry couldn't think of politically correct term). Although my daughter turned out to be a little prissy, the boy is rough and tough as they come and of course mean as ever. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
