WiFi to underground pump house

Thanks for the suggestions. At some point I plan to dig a trench and run a second power circuit to the pump house and will put a couple of Cat6e cables in too. I'll use conduit as I did to the barn. I suspect I'll still be close to the 300' limit and may, at some point, have to add a booster/extender (for the barn too).

I read this power line adapter review - Best power-line adapters of 2014 - CNET - before I purchased the inexpensive TrendNet model. They are working well at the barn for now. I may try one of the higher rated models for the pump house. I think in the right circumstances, power line adapters can be a good solution.

After the holidays, I'll probably try the Ubiquiti Nano when I can replenish the now much depleted gadget fund.

Spent the day installing a Ubiquiti Nanobeam M5 wireless bridge to the barn. Simple with the instructions from the Ubiquiti site. It was the warmest day in some time, but the ground is rock solid. So I've left the conduit on the surface until spring. I'll bury it and clean up the wiring at the barn. I did a speed test from the barn and had the same results as in the house.

The radios are only abut 10' off the ground. Don't think I need to go higher for this flat, clear line of sight. I'll wait until some nicer weather to attack the pump house. Happy for now. Thanks for the guidence.
