CCleaner by Piriform is a nice machine cleaner. You can specify which cookies to keep. I've set my most used sites, shopping and catalogs as "keeper" cookies. It also lets you remove all the unused hooks in the registry for errant or deleted soft

The whole COVID fiasco was a real eye-opener for me.

It's not my intention to sound smug. In my opinion the majority of the country, even the MSM (owned by conservatives), would describe themselves as 'middle of the road' where that middle is to the left of what you may think is the majority view. We don't see this a a 'push' rather, just a realistic view.

News channels aren't news channels but more of opinion news shows of what they want to push. Whether left or extreme right. Our choice ( for now) who we want to listen to. But that will be changing.
