As said earlier....trap them and eat 'em

buddy has plenty on his farm that he somewhat feeds (gets 4k lbs shell corn each year to dump out until other crops take over) and we've never had to pen them up to get the game taste out. Here's one of the latest he took and we made sausage out of a hind quarter.

I agree with all the above. set traps,kill on sight. They will take over your land and run off other game. LOL and if you shoot one in a trap with a 9mm pistol, have on good running and climbing shoes. she WILL come after you

buddy went to farm without his gun after setting his trap...bought a bowie knife from nearby truckstop/gas station and taped it to end of a stick. Had 2 pigs in the trap (150# each) and it took a lot of stabbin'. After he pinned down one to slit throat, the other (they thought was dead), got up and started rubbing his truck...they hightailed it to the bed of the pick up until it bled out finally. His truck had blood all over the lower half of it. Fortunately, I missed that episode of true redneckism.

I have killed 6 with a knife, 2 more I shot because conditions weren't exactly right to use the knife. I have only been bitten once, and just on the hand -- not serious.

I gave up pig stabbing at age 45, it is a young man's activity. Dogs and an experienced guide are vital.

A popular sport down here, with a number of magazines etc dedicated to the passtime.

My neighbors 14 & 16 year old grand daughters go every chance they get.

Guns are rarely used, as they might injure the dogs.
