Grading Will a 7 foot rear blade spin around on my dk45s?

Does anyone know if a 7 foot king kutter rear blade will be able to rotate between front and rear facing while staying connected to the three point?

I can spin the 7' King Kutter (professional series) rear blade on my DK 35.

My 7' rear blade will spin on my DK45 so I will think it would work on your S model .

Yes it should. General thoughts are 50hp per foot of cutter.

I have a 7' rear blade and I can not spin it around without removing the draw bar. I have a DK-45

Shouldn't any blade swivel 360 degrees? The frame would be built to extend far enough back to clear whatever size blade that it is holding. As noted before, some models may require the drawbar be removed or slid back under.

A well designed blade will spin around. The ability to spin is more dependant on the design of the blade than on the tractor brand, size or HP it is attached to.

If properly designed, the pivot point of a blade will be held roughly 1/2 of its width behind the 3 point hitch. So a 4' blade would have its pivot point at roughly 2' back, a 6' blade's pivot point would be roughly 3' back and an 8' blade would be held back roughly 4'. Most manufacturers will do this.
