Rear window is fine to look out. Just have to be careful washing and cleaning it so it doesn't get scratched.
Main reason I bought the cab is to keep the cold winter wind and blowing snow off of me. Now its more enjoyable to plow. I hated plowing dressed up like the abominable snowman just to keep warm. Before having the cab my fingers nearly froze, now I don't even wear gloves in the cab. You'll be happy.
The seat is an optical illusion. Both sides are equal with a raised ridge in the middle. I like the seat a lot. having a spring suspension is better than none.
I've also had the plastic piece under the wheel off. There's not much room behind it for any hoses. I barely had enough room to mount some toggle switches for the lights.
Yeah the same here. Ditto everything you said. When I had my 3/4 ton Chevy yard plow truck it didn't work good for my driveway & was on old piece junk BUT it did have a nice warm cab so I enjoyed plowing. My fingers are always the first to go too, have to wear wool lined leather mittens. I'll throw up some pics when I get my cab on. I may try to find some stuff for it at the local junkyards. I'm gonna look for a small heater box, a truck bed mat (for the floor), a windshield wiper set up, flashing amber lights, etc.
The more I read about & think about the hard cab option even if I had the money I don't know if I'd go that way on our tractors. They are light , tight quarters, inexpensive tractors. Adding one of those cabs adds a lot of money to the tractor, makes it more heavy, harder to get around in the woods, & robs precious horsepower.
