Thank you IXLR8, there are so many people who do not understand BD.
To add one other point, some BD actually has better lubricity than others. It turns out that BD made from animal byroducts tends to have better lubricity.

Be advised, they also tend to hype it's benefits as well. Just take a centered look at their material, the ASTM designation matters for BD, as well as who is doing the blending. As with everything else, a little research (or due diligence) can go a long way.
