Will Cat 2 Pat's Quick Hitch Work With Cat 1 Implements?

The subject sort of says it all. I have a JD 5065e tractor, which is a Cat 2. However, all my implements are Cat 1 left over from my old tractor. The old implements work on the new tractor, using the lift arm sleeve adaptor that slides over the lift pins.

Will the Pat's Quick Hitch work with the Cat 1 lift pens with the Category 2 to 1 lift arm sleeves? Will the lynch pins hold the adaptor sleeves on the implement lift pins?

Bottomline, I am trying to figure out which of the Pat's Quick Hitches I need to buy?

Might, then again might not.

I bought Cat 2 PEC for my M4700. Most Cat 1 things it fits fine, but on my Cat 1 tiller the spacing is too tight and I have to swap them out.

You might need a pto-adapter to lengthen your present pto shafts. Get the right # of splines.

All of my CAT 1 implements fit just fine on my Pat's CAT 2 hitch.

That said:

>You definitely need to use sleeves on your CAT 1 pins. Plus, the CAT 1 washers won't fit on CAT 2 pins. (You can make your own from washers - grade 8 work best).
