Ballast Will Deere 1025R rear wheel weights fit the GC17## rear wheels?

Has any fitted Deere 1025R rear wheel weights to GC1705, GC1710, GC1715, or GC1720 rear wheels?

Obviously holes would need to be drilled but I'm curious if the weight outside diameter was close enough to the wheel inside diameter not put all the stress on the center hub. If no one has attempted it, maybe I'll have to be the guinea pig.

Almost Any 12" wheel weight will fit . You may have to get a different length carriage bolts . And as you said massey will need holes drilled .
I have used all sorts of variations thru the years .

I'm puzzled by your question.
With most weights the first weight bolts to the wheel center and the subsequent weights
are bolted to the first.
So yes actually the center disc supports all the weights.

In this picture the first weight is bolted to the rim center and the second is bolted to the first.
Regular hex bolts are used to secure these weights, they are 300# each.

Another option is get your tires filled with rim guard or similar to give you the weight needed or use your 3 point hitch weight box

I went with ballast box (between 500-600 pounds) as I only need weight when picking up heavy stuff with FEL...

My tires are loaded and I have a weight box, if I were to do it again I would follow you're lead..

Have been having some thought about wheel spacers though... Been thinking a but wider track on rear would help stability.....

Need to take some pics of ballast box and post them up, maybe tomorrow if not raining....
