Will I be able to have chickens on my farm?

I've been following the NAIS & COOL programs.. though there seems to be more occurrances of food illness from vegetables then from livestock.

I think it is time for the Boston Egg Party. I do not intend to comply since I do not commercially grow chickens. I do sell eggs and intend to continue after 2009 without complying with the law. I will hatch my own chickens if necessary, and have no intention of reporting them to the Dept of Agriculture. This smells like the $600 license to sell firearms, that put all the little guys out of business, and the government harassment of them if they didn't voluntarily quit. This is way to much burden on the little guy, and the government is going to roll right over us.

The only way the chicken hawks will get my chickens is when they pry them from my cold dead fingers. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif
