I bought a DK45SE three and a half years ago. In early May the engine started making a terrible noise (at about 880 hours.) The local dealer (just 25 minutes from me) no longer deals in Kioti, so I hauled it 2 hours to the next closest dealer. I don't want to point fingers at the Kioti dealer because I don't know if it's their fault or not. Anyhow, it has been 5 weeks and I've heard nothing from the dealer except when I call them.
When I last talked with them, I was told that the bushing for one of the rods was gone...as in couldn't be found. Of course, it took a couple of weeks just to get that information because they were so busy with Memorial Day work they couldn't get to my tractor. Apparently Kioti doesn't manufacture a smaller or larger size so he has to replace the whole crank shaft or just replace the engine. Last I heard (two and a half weeks ago), he was waiting to hear back from Kioti as to which option they wanted. I just tried calling them, but was on hold for about 10 minutes and then hung-up.
Through the kindness of neighbors, I've been able to use an old SAME and Deere tractor (both are from the 80s and are running great.) I operate a small vegetable farm and spring is a terrible time to not have my main tractor. The reason I chose Kioti over Deere is because my experience with the local Deere dealers was that they weren't very responsive and the Kubota dealer was an hour away. My faith in Kioti is quickly fading as my local dealer is gone and it seems like parts take a long time to arrive.
Some words of reassurance would be great!
