Will it fit, a 54" blade from a 4100 on my 2305?
I am looking at a 54" snow blade on the web 300 miles away and the seller said it will fit a JD 4100, how would I know if this would fit my 2305? The picture looks like it has a hitch and blade. Thanks

The only way to tell if it will work is to get measurments off both model tractors and the blade and see if they have the same mounting holes. I made up a custom front blade for my JD 3520 out of JD model 74 front blade. The blade is not listed to fit a 3520, but I measures a friends 4000 series tractor that had a model 74 on it. The 3520 had the same frame holes, so the mounting brackets worked.

staurt, check out ebay item number 130044760170.Its a JD 54 inch blade and they list it as fitting both the model 4100 and 2305.

That is very interesting, I just bought my first JD coming from Kubota's and I can't seem to find any of this type of information other than asking. Thank you for the help.

The blade is universal between machines (2210...2520), but the Quick hitch (what the blade is attached to) is different between a 4100 and 2305 (will not work unless seriously modified) been there done that and realized it was just going to be too much trouble and purchased a new quick hitch.

The 2210 and 2305 take the same quick hitch.
