Will L3700 lift hay bales?

Thanks. But I'm new to all this. How do you counter weight the FEL?

You can either add weight to the rear wheels by having fluid put in the tires or buying weights that mount inside the rear rim. Another option, that we run, is to put weight on the 3pt hitch. You can do this alot of different ways here are a few, a ballast box, by hanging an attachment (a mower, box scrapper, ect), or a fairly cheap way is to hang a 55gal drum of concrete off the rear. I did the 55 gal drum, we have used this on a few bigger tractors over the years and worked good so I did it with the L3600 also. Granted the 1000+lbs is over kill for a FEL that is "rated" at 1500lbs, but it works very well. In the winter with the big 90" snow bucket the L3600 will have a 82" blower hanging off the rear.

Just a thought - add a rear 3pt bale spear and grab a bail with that - it will easily lift it on the rear and it can be used for rear weight.

there's an idea. I plan to read up on all of it. I was just considering my options. thanks all.
