Loader Will loader mounting brackets off of a JD 2840 fit on a JD 2955?

We are looking to put a 148 loader on our 2955. We found one for sale locally with the mounting brackets but they came off of a 2840 and not sure if there is any difference in brackets between the two models.

Look for more verification, but the brackets should fit and the loader should work if the 2955 is 2WD. A 148 loader won't work on a tractor with MFD due to the loader arms being too low and short.

Loader brackets on JD 6 cyl engine models need to attach to rear axles to give added support for clutch housing. Yes 2840 brackets will fit 2955.

I'd think that AGCO (who I believe sells the farmhand 520) should have the bracket info available for your JD 2840.
