Will mmm fit 3130 with r4 tires?

Was ordering a L3130 today with r4 tires because of back hoe and loader attachments, When I asked for 72 mid mount mower he said it would only fit with ag or turf tires. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif So I will have to get rear finish mower. Is there any one out there that was able to get r4 on 3130 and mmm. Is it (finish mower) a lot harder to operate than the mmm? Would I have been better with turf and get the mmm?

Can you use a MMM on a 3130 with a BH? I know I'd asked before about this with a B7500 and the BH's subframe won't allow for both.
I know the 3130 is "a lot more bigger" than the B7500.

The dealer said you could use it with the back hoe, just not with the large turf or r4 . Only can use it with regular turf or ag tire. Is ag same as r1?

Yes, r1 and ag are the same thing.

I'm not sure, but what he said was that the 72mmm did not work with r4s. So I take it that it would not matter which L30 series, it would have the same troubles.

I don't know how much taller if at all the R4's are over the R1's. On the L3130 and L3430, the R4's are smaller then on the L3830 which use the 17.5-24's. Good thing to investigate though, if I get the chance to visit my Kubota dealer I will ask.

The 72' mid mount mower will not fit the L3130, L3430 or the L3830 with the R4 tires. It is indeed a finish mower with the same quality of cut as the 3 pt mount finish mowers. If you are going to do the majority of you work with the finish mower, turf tires would be your best choice. It you want to do more field work, get the R4's and use a 3 pt finish mower. The mid PTO kit is optional on these tractors also. Hope this helps.

I guess I'm trying to find a machine to do everything! That includes yard mowing, field mowing, and working in the woods. I don't think that the turfs would be any good in the woods or field, and I'm not opposed to some cute designs from tire tracks in my yard, so I guess I should go with the R1s with the mid mount mower, loader, and brush hog. I assume the R1s are compatible with the mmm on all tractors (L3130, L3430, and L3830)? Also, is it really true that the L3830 HST, given it's added width, weighs only 35 lbs more than the L3130? Thanks.

Equipman, Thank you for your reply. I will do a lot of back hoe/loader work. My yard it self is small and fenced in with chain link, plan on useing push mower. I have a couple of questions if you don't mind. The part I will mow, actually two parts may be 700 feet by any where from 30 to 40 feet. Would I be better off with a bush hog instead of finish mower, or possibly leaving r4 tires off and getting ag tires. I have very long drive(up hill) and parking lot to grade as well, packed down with #57 gravel, the water running down it has caused some major ruts. Will a box Blade be best to staighten them out? Any other usefull implements.(would like to re sow grass as well on some packed soil.) So far I am ordering l3130 /bh90/la72 fel/72 finish mower/box blade/ 4x valve.
