Will my tractor handle a post driver?

I wouldn't have gone 10 feet high but our local Department of Natural Resources will provide up to $5,000.00 in fencing materials for free and they require the height. .

Good to know.

Got a used hd -8. Older model and does not have a stand. Got it plumb to my L4600. Tried it out and I am getting a lot of movement when pounding. So much that it almost missed the post. Any parts that I might need to check out. Or ideas?

Build a stand for it. The post driver should be resting on the ground via the stand when you are pounding. Without it, it moves around way too much.

Mine was an older one too, came with a SSQA mount and a 3-point mount - but apparently not originally with a stand. The POs welded on two pieces of 2" electrical conduit, with a slightly smaller piece of conduit inside as an adjustable leg.
